Industrial Property and Sustainability

Gonçalo de Sampaio, partner at JEDC, wrote an opinion article published in today's edition of Jornal de Negócios, entitled "Industrial Property and Sustainability - it's time for Portugal to do more for the future of the planet", a reflection about the fundamental and decisive role that Industrial Property can and should play in the process of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals established for the UN's 2030 Agenda.

"The Portuguese State must, once and for all, stop looking at Intellectual Property as a mere procedural issue that guarantees it income through the collection of fees, and start looking at Intellectual Property as an essential driver of economic activity."
