Reopening of applications to the SME Fund

Are you an SME and want to protect your trademarks and patents? Then grab this new opportunity and apply for the EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office Fund, which has already supported more than 95,000 SMEs in the European Union since 2021.

How does this support work?

A subsidy scheme that allows SMEs to partially reimburse the costs of protecting Intellectual Property rights - IP Scan/IP Scan Enforcement, trademarks and design, patents and plant varieties.
When the application is accepted, vouchers are issued which can then be activated to partially reimburse the fees for the selected modalities.

Voucher 1
IP Scan - Industrial Property pre-diagnostic services

  • Aimed at advising SMEs on the potential of IP for the development of their business
  • 90% reimbursement of service costs

 

IP Scan - Enforcement

  • Aimed at advising SMEs whose IP rights have been infringed

 

Voucher 2
National, regional and EU trademark and design applications

  • Includes fees for application, class, examination, registration, publication and postponement of publication, as well as registration of logos
  • 75% refund of fees

 

International applications to register trademarks and designs through WIPO

  • To support the growth of EU SMEs on a more international scale, eligible fees include international trademark and design applications using the systems managed by WIPO
  • 50% reimbursement of fees

 

Voucher 3
National and European patent applications

  • 75% reimbursement of fees
  • 50% reimbursement of costs incurred in drafting and filing European patent applications
