Launch of the SME Fund 2024

The 2024 edition of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Support Fund has been launched, a community instrument designed to help SMEs based in the European Union protect their Intellectual Property (IP) rights.

This is a European Commission initiative, implemented by EUIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and applications will be open to all interested parties until 6 December 2024.

Up to 1000 euros per company
The programme consists in direct financial support in the form of vouchers reimbursing up to 75% of the official fees for filing one or more trademark and design or model applications (application fees) up to a maximum of 1000 euros per company.

Limited funds
Funds are limited - this year's edition has a total budget of around 20 million euros - and are available in the order in which applications are received.
